Levante Beach

This is perhaps one of the best known beaches in all of Europe. It is an urban beach of more than 2 kilometers in length that runs between Punta Pinet and Punta Canfali. An expanse of fine, golden sand is bathed by the calm waters of the Mediterranean and thanks to its orientation, it is possible to sunbathe until late in the afternoon.

Castle plaza

The Plaza del Castillo divides the famous Levante beach from the Poniente beach, and at sunset it offers spectacular views, a very romantic place if you decide to go at sunset, since you see the sunset in all its splendor. This viewpoint located on the Canfali point, is known as the Balcony of the Mediterranean, on its esplanade is the Castle-Mirador de Benidorm. During the fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth centuries the fortress served as a defense against pirate attacks. Today only an access arch and some canvas are preserved in the remains of the walls.

From the Balcón del Mediterráneo you can see the skyscrapers of Benidorm and the Poniente and Levante beaches, as well as Cala Mal Pas, the marina or the promenade and its palm trees, a beautiful corner that offers, without a doubt, the best panoramic views from all over Benidorm.

The so-called Balcony of the Mediterranean is nothing more than a beautiful panoramic viewpoint located on top of a rock, acting as a divider between the two main sandy beaches of the city - a corner from where you can see practically the entire promenade of Benidorm, its beaches and other coastal points of interest-.

Poniente Beach

It is the longest beach in the municipality, with more than 3 km in length, which makes it an ideal place to stroll along its shore. It has a calmer character than that of Levante and is where national tourists are concentrated to a greater degree. It is an urban beach that has an annexed promenade that houses a large number of restaurants, bars and places for the enjoyment of tourists.
